General FAQ

  • How can Lemonaid help if I suffer from erectile dysfunction (ED)?

Our erectile dysfunction (ED) service provides you with a convenient and affordable way to manage your ED, and empowers you to do so appropriately and safely.

You can get the care and advice you need online without having to go to a traditional doctor’s office. Our goal is to find the right medication at the most effective dose that will give you the results you want.

  • What should I know about erectile dysfunction and how can Lemonaid Health treat it?

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to achieve and maintain an erection sufficient for sex even though you're sexually aroused. ED is not the same as premature ejaculation or low libido (desire to have sex).

ED is common and affects 10% of adult men and as many as 40% of men over 40 years old.

ED is most commonly caused by physical factors, but can also be caused by psychological factors such as anxiety or depression. Sometimes ED is caused by a combination of physical and psychological factors.

We offer several treatment options to help obtain and maintain an erection if you are sexually aroused:

Please visit the medication specific pages on our site to learn more about each option.

  • Can I use the Lemonaid Health erectile dysfunction service?

You can use the service if your assigned birth sex is male, you are between the ages of 25 and 72 years old, and you are healthy enough for sexual activity. Our medical team is unable to offer erectile dysfunction treatment for men in North Dakota at this time.

If it’s not in your best interest to use Lemonaid Health based on what you tell us about your health history or symptoms, we’ll advise you to see a doctor or nurse practitioner in person.

  • Can Lemonaid Health treat my erectile dysfunction remotely?

Our doctors and nurse practitioners can treat ED based on your history and self-reported symptoms. Our medical team follows strict guidelines to make sure we only treat you when it's safe and appropriate to do so. It’s important that you answer our questions fully and truthfully, and read any information we provide.

If, for any reason, our doctor or nurse practitioner thinks it’s not safe to treat you, we’ll ask you to see a provider in person.

  • How do I complete an erectile dysfunction service visit?

    1. Create a Lemonaid Health Account.
    2. Select your preferred treatment option.
    3. Complete our simple health questionnaire
    4. Save your payment information - we won’t charge your card until after your consultation. Many HSA/FSA cards can be used at checkout.
    5. A Lemonaid Health doctor or nurse practitioner will review your questionnaire. A phone call may be required depending on your state.

Our providers will then follow strict guidelines to decide if treatment with medication is safe and appropriate for you.

If we prescribe erectile dysfunction treatment, we can ship your medication directly to you from our own Lemonaid Pharmacy. Shipping is discreet, fast and free. Alternatively, our medical team can send the prescription electronically to your local pharmacy.

  • Are the erectile dysfunction medications provided by Lemonaid Health safe and effective?

There are risks and benefits to taking any medication. It’s important to answer our health questionnaire fully and truthfully so that our providers can help you make an informed decision about whether the benefits of a medication outweigh the potential risks.

The medications we prescribe are effective and work for most men when used correctly. Please read the information we provide in your treatment plan to learn more about the risks and benefits of treatment.

  • How do I measure my blood pressure at home for the erectile dysfunction service?

You can use an at-home blood pressure monitor that has a cuff for the upper arm and a label on the box stating ‘clinically validated’. We don’t recommend using finger or wrist monitors, as they tend to be less accurate. Always read the instructions carefully.

Many pharmacies have a machine where you can accurately measure your blood pressure for free.
Here are two links to help you find your nearest  Higi machine and Pursuant Health kiosk. Both machines are FDA approved to check blood pressure accurately.

Take 2 readings, at least one minute apart, in both arms and give us the highest number you record.

  • Why can't I take these medicines with nitrates or nitroglycerin?

Medications that contain nitrates or nitroglycerin taken in combination with erectile dysfunction medications can lower blood pressure unexpectedly, and could be fatal.

Lemonaid Bliss

  • What is Lemonaid Bliss?

Lemonaid Bliss is a compounded sublingual sildenafil tablet: an erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment designed to dissolve under your tongue for faster absorption. It’s made by a U.S. based, state-licensed compounding pharmacy after a licensed healthcare provider prescribes it through Lemonaid Health.

  • What is a compounded medication?

Compounding is the process of creating a customized medication to meet the specific needs of a patient. Lemonaid Health works with state-licensed compounding pharmacies to offer compounded medication. This medication uses the same active ingredient as Viagra® (sildenafil).

  • How do I take Lemonaid Bliss?

  • How does Lemonaid Bliss work?

Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis, helping you get and maintain an erection when sexually aroused. Taken sublingually, it may be absorbed more quickly than traditional tablets.

  • What are some of the common side effects of Lemonaid Bliss?

The most common side effects of the active ingredient (sildenafil) are: headaches, nasal congestion, flushing, upset stomach, and dizziness. For more information on side effects and other safety information, see Important Safety Information.

  • How quickly does Lemonaid Bliss work?

Lemonaid Bliss is a sublingual tablet that dissolves under your tongue, allowing the medication to absorb directly into your bloodstream - as quickly as within 15 minutes. For best results, take Lemonaid Bliss at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.

  • How much does Lemonaid Bliss cost?

Lemonaid Bliss is $8 per dose on monthly shipment cadence. You may cancel at any time by reaching out to the Lemonaid team. Lemonaid Health ED shipments are 10 doses per shipment.
